Omaha poker in French casinos to help in crisis

31 Jan All, Casino Games | Comments Off

To help casinos that have a significant drop in attendance, new regulations should allow casinos to hold poker tournaments Omaha.

The Interior Ministry has released amendments to the regulation of casinos. Time the boom years 1990 to casinos is completed. Their turnover was down for the season 2009-2010. Since 3 years the crisis of French casinos has collapsed their turnover by 20%. The Official Gazette published the new decrees allowing casinos to limit their expenses.

These new orders of the Ministry of Interior will allow casinos to better collect the emerging market for online gambling. Thus, gambling establishments will accommodate players of Omaha.

Jean-Francois Cot, Secretary General Casinos de FranceShows that Omaha is in fashion for 2 years and 1 year since he has been undergoing testing in preparation for this new regulation. However, Omaha poker can not be wrong to bail out its own casinos, as less profitable as slot machines. In addition, games are only a small share of revenues from casinos.

The new decree of the Ministry of Interior is planning a change in taxation from Texas Hold’em poker. Indeed, it is taxed at 4%, while the Omaha should be taxed at 2%. On the other hand, elements of the regulation of gambling will increase in the Monetary and Financial Code, including allowing casinos to no longer be forced to block significant amounts of money for long periods to ensure payment of taxes due to the state.

Gerard Gachet, a spokesperson for the Interior Ministry, confirmed that the casinos are down, and that this new decree on Omaha should help them recover. This decision is a consequence of the new regulation of online gambling.

This regulatory relief for land-based casinos includes reducing the number of maintenance on the slot machines. In addition, casino employees are now authorized to make such maintenance, whereas before it had to be done by skilled mechanics. The Ministry of Interior to ensure that this does not undermine the integrity and reliability of slot machines and that the police gambling will always be there to control.

Many believe that these small cuts will not be enough to restart significantly the activity of casinos. This crisis did not start yesterday. In 2007, the law requiring ID checks at the entrance of the casino had a very negative effect. Then the law of January 2008 prohibiting smoking in public places was a blow to the casinos. Since this law, the attendance was considerably chutée casinos, and Dominique Desseigne director of Groupe Lucien Barriere to quantify this decline of 10% to 15%.

Hopefully the 197 French casinos gather the successes of the 1990s, as 50% of their earnings are donated to the State and 15% to the host city.
